About Robert Balkan

I specialize in Ophthalmology. I became a healthcare provider because I sought work that was meaningful and helpful to other people; that would be stimulating, challenging and creative. In particular, I enjoy working with children. My patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I like working with others and seeking the best outcomes for my patients. I never cut corners and I keep up on changing methods in my field in healthcare. Patient comfort is a high priority of mine. My little something extra: I use magic tricks to dazzle, distract, and comfort my patients!

    The provider was very proficient. He answered all my questions and he made me feel that he was ready to help my daughter and he gave great insight on things that I needed to do to take care of her eyes.

    Dr. Belkin has been fantastic with my son. Every time we go in there, he does magic tricks for him. When he was younger, you know, the magic tricks were exciting for him. And now, as a parent, I love the magic tricks. But Dr. Belkin is incredibly kind and warm, and he's patient. And my son is on the spectrum and absolutely loves him. I couldn't, I couldn't say enough positive things about him. And I recently found out that he could be retiring soon and it broke my heart because I can't, I don't, I don't want any other doctor. All I want is him. Um, so I hope that we can stay with him for a bit longer until possibly we find another doctor that's like him. But again, he's fantastic.

    Dr Balkan was very professional with great bedside manners with my 15 year old daughter.
