I am board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology with more specific clinical interests in treating patients with short bowel syndrome, eosinophilic esophagitis, weight management issues, and other general GI conditions. In addition, I participate in several multidisciplinary clinics including the Feeding Clinic, the Tracheostomy Clinic, and the Intestinal Rehabilitation Clinic.
I particularly seek to maximize patient outcomes through the use of nutrition, in addition to the most up to date treatment modalities. Whether I am seeing you in the clinic, the hospital or during a procedure, my patients and their families can expect excellent care.

He was awesome and his nurse was awesome. It was a pleasant visit in a situation that was nerve-wracking. They made it very easy. Thank you.

I feel he was a great doctor. He listens carefully to everything we said, and instead of giving an opinion, he's running test to find out what's wrong with her.

He is a very kind doctor, very legalistic, and explains things very well.

The feeding team at Manning Family Children's was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring when discussing my concerns. They truly listened and provided thoughtful feedback, which made me feel supported and confident in the care that I have provided to my child. I'm very grateful for their time, compassion, and professionalism.

It was great being able to meet the provider at Trait Clinic where we were able to see all of her doctors in about three hours and stay in the same room. They all came to us, especially with her condition. It's very difficult to move her and the stroller and the vent and the suction and the pulse oximeter. It was so much easier and more, very convenient and very well provided to be able to have the Trait Clinic to meet all of them in the same place.

Everyone was amazing at this appointment. The lady working the desk was super sweet and pleasant, and it carried over throughout the entire appointment. Bedside manner of the physician was wonderful and the nurse was helpful as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this provider to friends and family.

The provider was awesome, and he was very down-to-earth. At first, I was just going to do my baby's first appointment there, then reschedule back in Covington. But after meeting with the provider, I enjoyed the way how he explained things. I enjoyed his energy. And I just decided that the travel to New Orleans was worth it, and I'm going to stick with that same provider. He was awesome.

The family really appreciated the level of concern and insight for our child. So glad we were able to utilize this provider for my daughter's care. Keep up the good work!

Mr. Carver, no, I'm sorry, Dr. Carver was amazing. He answered every question very clearly. The examples he gave to explain to me as a parent were so thorough and very easily understood. I felt very comfortable with him. I've already referred him to the office I work at to send all our patients. If I have a patient in the NECGI, I want them to see him if they're willing to drive to New Orleans. I couldn't say anything horrible or bad at all about the experience. The office staff was amazing, very quick and kind. The MA was very kind and thorough and polite. And I was just overly impressed with how great he was during the appointment.
