Matthew Cable, MD

Dr. Matthew Cable specializes in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Children's Hospital and University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Cable earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed his residency training at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Huntsman Cancer Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Cable serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Oncology at LSU Health New Orleans. On what he loves about his career, Dr. Cable commented, "I have the privilege to coordinate with many specialists outside of orthopedics when caring for bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and perform many surgeries unique to the field of musculoskeletal oncology."
