Kenneth Paris, MD

Dr. Kenneth Paris specializes in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Manning Family Children's. He received his medical degree from LSU Health New Orleans, then his residency training at Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine and Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He then completed a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at LSU Health New Orleans.  Dr. Paris is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He also serves on the faculty at LSU Health New Orleans as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology. When asked why he continues to practice medicine, Dr. Paris said, "It allows me to train the next generation of physicians while I treat patients and develop relationships with their families. I know that teaching patients and parents about their illnesses can lead to improved overall health and quality of life. Many of our patients have allergic disorders and I particularly enjoy working with families who have children with food allergies. Food allergies can affect people of all ages and my responsibility for helping children and families with this potentially life-threatening disease is something I believe in. I am also proud to lead our clinical team in caring for patients with various types of primary immunodeficiency. Our Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center is one of a few centers in the United States that specialize in the diagnosis and management of these rare diseases. Staying at the forefront of research and education about these diseases is a commitment our team makes to all of our patients and their families."
