Jay Kolls, MD

I specialize in Pulmonology. I became a healthcare provider to provide care and to do research that improves the lives of patients with lung disease. This includes children with asthma, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis as well as other lung diseases. My patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I am very good at listening to the patient and the parent. I have had a wealth of experience in treating patients with various lung disorders and thus feel very qualified to give a reliable medical opinion. Lastly, I understand for many complex diseases that it is a true team approach to achieve the best outcomes and to this end, I feel I am a very good communicator among other members of the care team. My little something extra: I am a firm believer that research is essential to improve how we deliver care. To this end my lab is developing inhaled vaccines or pneumonia.
