Jared Batiste, DNP

Jared Batiste is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care, and Certified Pediatric Nurse. He obtained his Registered Nursing degree from Delgado Community College-Charity School of Nursing and Doctorate from LSUHSC-School of Nursing. Over the course of his career he found the passion to educate and advocate for improved health outcomes. Born and raised in New Orleans, he aims to give back to the community by increasing healthcare literacy. On why he chose to specialize in Pediatric Nephrology, Jared said, "As a Dialysis Nurse I became drawn to the continuity of care and rapport that is formed with the patients and their families throughout the course of their renal journey.
