I specialize in Nephrology. I became a healthcare provider because my mom was a pediatrician, and I was excited about the specifics of her work. I specialize in Pediatric Nephrology and decided to become a Pediatric Nephrologist during my medical school years. My patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I have over 30 years of experience in providing care to children and adolescents with a diverse spectrum of kidney diseases. I maintain my medical knowledge and skills through interactions with my colleagues, daily studies, and through clinical practice. My little something extra: I have specific interests in providing care to children and adolescents with congenital anomalies of the kidneys and urinary tract as well as with hypertension. I have conducted NIH-funded research in these areas of interest for many years. I authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters on these subjects.
