I’m a native New Orleanian and specialize in primary care pediatrics. I have the privilege of witnessing children develop through multiple phases of life from infancy to late adolescence and enjoy providing families with education and reassurance along the way. It’s highly rewarding to create familiarity and continuity with the families over the years which helps facilitate care, trust, and the occasional inside joke with patients or parents.
My Little Something Extra.
I love mild adventures with traveling such as gentle hikes, swimming in creeks, snorkeling, or white-water rafting. I share the same love for concerts, reading, cats, Central American, and Louisiana cuisine.

I accidentally pressed that I did not see a nurse during the visit, but I did see a nurse prior to seeing the doctor. And Dr. Ruiz was a fantastic doctor. First time we met her. Thank you.

Everyone in the clinic are very respectful and are constantly greeting as soon as you walk in. They are always helpful and willing to make you feel at home. Dr. Ruiz explained everything in detail and is very professional. I totally recommend this site.
