I specialize in pediatric interventional cardiology. I became a Pediatric Cardiologist to help children born with congenital heart disease. The ability to care for a patient from the time they are in the womb through to their 7th decade of life is unique and rewarding. I truly love what I do, and I am grateful for the opportunity and the trust parents and family members give me to care for their children. I never take this for granted.
My little something extra
I was a semi-professional soccer player and salsa dancing instructor. I have two kids and three dogs and love spending time with them and my family.

I highly recommend this doctor. He is a very good doctor, very polite. He explains things kindly, clearly, and in an organized way so that you can understand him. And the staff, the nurses, and the receptionists are also kind and very polite, and they provide the care you need. I 100% recommend this hospital. Thank you very much.

They were helpful and kind from the front desk, to the nurses and then the doctor. They were very communicative and made my 16 years old twins feel safe and comfortable while taking heart tests. Dr. Mejia was very informative and kind. I felt seen and heard and valued. I truly enjoyed my visit.
