After practicing for many years in Baton Rouge, Dr. McDonough has joined the Gastroenterology Department at Manning Family Children's New Orleans. Dr. McDonough received her medical degree from LSUHSC in 2006, completed her Pediatrics Residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in 2009 and stayed on at Vanderbilt to complete her GI Fellowship. Dr. McDonough will be seeing patients in Baton Rouge as well as the New Orleans location. Her clinical interests include chronic stomach pain, ulcers, diarrhea, reflux, cancer, and Crohn's disease.

We absolutely love Dr.McDonough! She seen both of my kids years ago and when it was time for my son to be seen by Gastroenterology again I knew we had to see her. She is so caring and listens to any concern you may have and takes it seriously.

Dr. McDonough was amazing, amazing. I've seen several GI doctors over the past year, some good, some not so good, but she was rememberable. I'm going to remember her like forever. She listened to everything that I had to say about my baby. She listened to my baby. She looked at the whole picture of my kid, and it wasn't just looking at a chart. I didn't feel like a number. I felt like an actual person, that my kid's actually married with her. She's amazing.
