Dr. Colleen LeBlanc is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Manning Family Children's in New Orleans and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed her medical education at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport. She pursued her Pediatric Residency at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC, and went on to complete a Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
Since joining Manning Family Children’s in 2019, Dr. LeBlanc has taken on several key roles. She co-directs both the Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGIDs) Clinic and the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Clinic. Dr. LeBlanc is also part of ImproveCareNow, a consortium dedicated to enhancing care for pediatric IBD patients. In addition to treating children with EGIDs and IBD, Dr. LeBlanc also sees patients in her general GI clinics. In addition, she serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at LSU and Manning Family Children’s.
Dr. LeBlanc was born and raised in New Orleans and is proud to treat the children in the community where she grew up.

I think that a doctor probably should read about the patient and read why the patient is coming to the office. We were there and we were asked why we were coming there by the nurse beforehand. And when the doctor comes in, she did not know pretty much, I guess, what the reason was for. She didn't read the chart. before we came in to see what was our purpose of being there. And that other doctors had left messages or left notations rather from days before to show that what was the reason why we were coming. So I think they need to just read their notes before the patient comes. Overall, nice doctor.

We came from out of town and we arrived an hour early and the provider saw us an hour early. And we really enjoyed the visit and them recommending and referring other providers in their network for us to see.
