I specialize in pediatric otolaryngology. I chose the long path to become a doctor because it allows me to blend my love for science with my desire to serve others. I am honored to be part of a profession where I can constantly learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on the lives of my patients.
As a surgeon, I have the privilege of being present in some of the most critical moments of families' lives. I have witnessed the difference that compassionate and personalized care can make through my own experiences as a patient. This continuously reinforces my commitment to improving my patients' lives- whether by restoring a child's ability to breathe on their own or hear their voice for the first time.
My little something extra
I was born and raised in New Orleans, and I actually volunteered at the Children's Hospital Gift Shop during high school!

The care seemed mostly good, but bringing up a concern about a suggested surgery became awkward as the doctor immediately became defensive and demanded I supply data and research instead of her staying up to date and informed on the latest research.

I hate when a dr. Tries to dismiss my feelings and gaslight me.

She was great and we felt very much heard and she was very thorough in listening to us and testing gains. She has now discovered that he has a deviated septum, which several doctors have missed. We are very proud and pleased. I'm sorry, we're very pleased with our appointment and will continue to use children's.

The provider herself was outstanding, very informative, respectful, and considerate to listen to all of our concerns and answer our questions. However, the system for getting prices and billing was convoluted. The front office was able to field problems with the system on their end, but redirected me to other people who were drafting redirected me to other people, and it was just very problematic, ultimately resolving with no answer to the billing question.

Thank you to Dr. Settoon and your team for making my daughter and me feel so comfortable with her treatment! I was shocked how Dr. Settoon and the team were able to encourage my 2.5 year old to sit still and allow her ears to be worked on by everything they said and did to help her feel more comfortable. I need to learn some of Dr. Settoon's methods for helping me to get my daughter to calm down. Thank you!

She made my daughter's quality of life better. Before we got to her no doctor could help us for over two years. We thought we would see no light at the end of our darkness thanks to her. We did. She listened to us. Nobody was listening to us. Two years no one could give us a diagnosis. In one visit we received one from her. The next visit, my daughter was on medication and now she's back to being her self. We are forever thankful for her. She cares about her clients. The health needs doctors like her..
